Location: Watford

Start Date: Immediate Start/September 2024

Salary: Competitive salary £85 - £95 per day

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who can adaptably join energetic teams around Wtaford helping to encourage and nurture the minds of students with SEN, installing confidence, self-assurance and a good educational foundation.

Role Overview:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and assisting in the education and development students. You will work closely with small groups of children, providing guidance, encouragement, and assistance as they navigate their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Working with small groups of children to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • Be able to commute to Watford areas.
