The Wantage based Primary School is looking for a friendly, personable and professional KS2 Primary Teacher to join their busy team in Year 3.
The Year 3, KS2 Responsibilities:
- To deliver fun educational based learning which is tailored to each of KS2 Year 3 pupils to ensure they will achieve positive results.
- Expected to lead the teaching of and co-ordinate flexible, person-centred programmes of study for individuals and groups of pupils.
- Be able to demonstrate a practical, hands-on approach to teaching and be prepared to go above and beyond for the young people we support.
- Ability to teach a varied range of subjects whilst preparing, planning and assessing teaching sessions whilst maintaining an awareness of KS2 curriculum developments.
- Writing and implement individual education plans, making assessments of educational attainment, setting challenging yet achievable targets.
- Build relationships with all young people, which will encourage their interest and participation in their education.
- Creating an environment which is stimulating and purposeful for all pupils to promote teaching and learning outside the formal classroom settings.
- Key awareness for safeguarding, keeping up to take with all regulations and requirements.
All aspiring KS2 Primary Teacher's must hold a Qualified Teacher Status & a DBS certificate.
This Wantage Primary School has some SEN children attending the classroom, excellent KS2 Primary Teacher's are experienced in working within an SEN setting, supporting pupils and young people with challenging behaviour (SEMH/EBD).
