Key Responsibilities:

  • Ultimate oversight for audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Responsible Individual for a range of audits, including large and complex assignments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address client needs, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the audit team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues to enhance audit methodologies and processes.
  • Business development and cross selling.
  • Leading and inspiring the department.
  • Complex audit advice.
  • Effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.

Position Overview: As an Interim Audit RI, you will play a pivotal role in supporting this firm to meet its audit commitments over a defined time period, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional service to their diverse portfolio of clients. Qualifications:

  • Progressive career to date including high level (Director upwards) audit placements.
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with extensive experience in audit.
  • RI status.
  • Proven experience managing audit engagements within a financial services environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including a deep understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
