About the Role:

Our client, a leading main contractor in the construction industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join their team for an exciting health care project in Shropshire. This project involves Reinforced Concrete (RC) frame construction and offers an excellent opportunity to work on a significant and impactful development with a project duration of two years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all engineering aspects of the construction project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and construction teams.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, schedules, and plans.
  • Resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior engineering role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with RC frame construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
