Job Description:

Overview: Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading ingredient supplier to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain processes, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting the efficient distribution of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is maintained to meet customer demand while minimising excess inventory.
  • Order Processing: Coordinate and process customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to manage purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any issues related to supply chain disruptions.
  • Logistics Management: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, shipments, and other supply chain activities.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve supply chain issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the food ingredient industry.
  • Knowledge of clean label products and market trends.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

Working Conditions:
