Are you keen to expand your career in IT and have some prior experience in a 2nd Line Support role. I am working a Thetford based manufacturing business in their search for a hands-on IT Technician.
You will be providing first and second line hands on support for the site, develop technical expertise and support the IT manager in security, software development, projects.
Overall Purpose:
- Provide first line hands on technical support for the site
- Provide 2nd Line in-house Support
- Network and Infrastructure Support
- Develop technical expertise
- Support the IT manager in security, software development, projects, Service Delivery. Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings in Active Directory.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, and Teams
- Assist in supporting and managing our physical and Virtual server environment.
- Assist with hosted AV solution rules and detections.
- Assist with print server and related software maintenance.
- Provide technical support to end-users for software and hardware issues related to laptops and desktops.
- Excellent progression routes.
