Overview
I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager position at an internationally recognised company based in Worcester. Due to high growth and internal restructure within a company, my client requires an experienced AP Manager to control a medium sized team of AP Clerks working within a fast paced, shared service environment.
This role would give the successful Accounts Payable Manager a unique opportunity to bring new ideas to the table where your line manager will look to you in order to push the function forward. With this you will have to show strong work ethic and communication skills where you will be able to manage a team of mixed capabilities in a fast-paced role. With the company looking to further its growth in the coming years it would also be beneficial to have prior system implementation experience as changes could be made within this area in the foreseeable future.
Ideally you will;
- Be AAT qualified with the intention of staying with an organisation for a long period of time, having the opportunity to add real value to the company
- Have at least 3 years of prior experience where you have been in a situation of looking after a medium sized team in a finance environment
- Be able to drive your team in a way that is specific to each individual's requirements, working with them on a one-to-one basis encouraging personal development
- Be able to provide vital information to the Head of Shared Services in a timely manner, on a monthly basis
