Service Desk Technician – Staffordshire - Competitive

VIQU have partnered with an organisation who specialises in digital transformations and operational technology who have been ahead of the game with their advanced systems for years. The business who are going from strength to strength, are looking to hire a Service Desk Technician to be part of the business's world class to help support their expansion plans.

The Service Desk Technician will be based in the office in Staffordshire and will be focused on providing level two IT support. The role will involve providing hands on support for over 400 staff, assigning and working on tickets in a timely manner and ensuring professional standards are adhered to.

Requirements of the Service Desk Technician

  • 2+ years of experience in a level two support role.
  • Proven experience of ticket elevation.
  • Experience using Active Directory.
  • Previously worked with a Microsoft stack (Windows 11 & 10).
  • Previously worked with an ITIL system.
  • Must have experience working with: Microsoft Windows Server, SharePoint, Office 365, VMWare and AutoCAD.
  • Hardware support (Dell servers and laptops, phones and tablets).
  • An understanding of networking tools, antivirus, and security applications.
