Our client is a leading engineering services provider. Due to increased customer demand they are looking for an electrical Design Engineer to assist on a variety of Products within the FMCG and Industrial Processing Industry.
Role & Responsibilities:

The role requires the candidate to use AutoCad Electrical to generate the following:
-
Panel layouts and BOMs
-
LV distribution and cable calculations
-
Electrical schematic diagrams
-
Instrument loop diagrams
-
PLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules
-
Machinery safety circuit design and risk assessments to BS EN ISO 13849/60261
-
Technical documents
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- The applicant must have some form of Electrical qualification (BTEC and/or NVQ3).
- City & Guilds 17th / 18th Edition is essential
- Knowledge / experience of machine safety and safety circuits.
- Knowledge of PLC control wiring systems, instrumentation and motor starter control types
