Job Title: DEPOT MANAGER
Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Coventry
Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £40,000 - £40,000 Per annum
Job Duties:
- Oversee the overall operations of the depot, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources
- Supervise and coordinate staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise depot performance and meet operational targets
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory levels, stock control, and distribution processes
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Sound knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial position within the FMCG sector
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
Working Conditions:
- Standard office hours with occasional weekend or evening work required
- Fast-paced and dynamic environment with exposure to warehouse operations
- Travel may be required to other company depots or supplier locations
