Warehouse & Production Operative Grantham, Full Time, 37.5 hours (Rotating Shifts 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm M-F) Permanent or Temporary to Permanent £12.92ph (Overtime readily available)
Our client is seeking a professional and experienced Warehouse & Production Operative to join their busy and expanding team. This is a full time permanent position based in Grantham.
THE ROLE
As a Warehouse & Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Handling and racking goods as well as labelling and storing.
- Housekeeping - ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy, reporting damages.
- Goods-in - Inspecting incoming materials and reconcile against purchase orders, checking for damages.
- Goods-out - Picking items from the warehouse, packing accurately against delivery note.
- Operating cutting machinery to cut materials to size.
- Operating hand tools e.g. saws etc.
- Operating a forklift truck (desirable).
- Driving license (essential).
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Warehouse & Production Operative will possess experience in the above tasks as well as have a valid forklift truck license (not essential).
You will be a team player, with excellent communication skills as well as have the ability to work to deadlines and take pride in your own work. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing business in Grantham.
A UK drivers licence would be advantageous for this role.
