Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join our passionate and driven team based at our client's site in Dublin.

The role will cover the Island of Ireland only. We have experienced rapid growth over the last 12 months. As a consequence, we are restructuring our Finance department in line with the demands of the business and to facilitate further growth. This is a new role over a team of 11 people. You will report to the Finance Director of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts with the Finance team.
  • Prep of Statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors and also to partner cross-functionally with internal teams.
  • Liaise with Key Operational Stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Delivering Reporting, every month, to a high standard internally and externally.
  • Ensure payroll is compliant for reporting and statutory purposes.
  • Monitoring compliance with policies and reporting timeframes both internally and externally.
  • Ensure delivery of month-end close in line with Group reporting dates.
  • Supporting the Finance Director.
  • Ad-hoc projects.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Strong Excel skills and PBI.
  • Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, HR and Payroll.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics will be an advantage.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work, demonstrating excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for building relationships, influencing upwards and laterally, taking ownership of tasks, and keeping colleagues informed of progress.
  • Taxation Knowledge including RCT.
  • High level of commercial acumen.
