The Role of a Mechanical Fitter -
- Perform mechanical fitting tasks on heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
- Carry out fabrication work, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
- Execute high-quality welding tasks using TIG, MIG, and ARC techniques.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Work with pneumatic systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Apply knowledge of compression systems to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety standards and complies with company and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to solve mechanical issues and improve equipment performance.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar environment and will have the following skills:
- Experience working as a mechanical fitter
