Your new company
You will be working for one of the world's leading EPC service providers in the development, construction and operation of solar power plants. They have developed into an international company with around 500 employees in several different countries. As one of the world's largest O&M service providers, the solar energy specialist also takes care of operation and maintenance.
Your new role
Assist lead within the UK team for procurement of equipment, services and works. You will have management of purchase orders across EPC and O&M business. This will also entail the management of hire equipment requirements across the EPC business. You will be leading supplier pre-qualification and onboarding of subcontractors and suppliers. Evaluate market trends affecting procurement of key equipment and services and have ownership of purchasing processes and procurement systems in the UK. The role will focus mostly on Direct Procurement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Be a self-starter with commitment to self-development and passion for renewable energy.
- Have the ability to develop strong working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Demonstrate strong buying experience and have a previous background in procurement.
