Salary: £34,796- £38,738 dependant on experience

Job Description:

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager and HR Support to oversee the daily operations of their office and provide efficient HR support to their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative and HR functions within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the office, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Coordinate and oversee administrative support activities such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Provide HR support to the team, including assisting with recruitment processes, onboarding new employees, and maintaining employee records.
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and best practises.
  • Assist with employee performance evaluations and provide support in addressing any performance-related issues.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Manage employee leave requests and maintain leave records.
  • Support the management team in planning and organising company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Assist with budget management, including monitoring and controlling office expenses.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office management or HR support role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field would be an asset.
