My client is a specialist London caterer, dedicated to delivering the highest quality food and service to discerning business organisation.

Counting some of the world's biggest names amongst their portfolio of clients the service that is offered is second to none and the hospitality offered to Clients and Directors at the headquarters is no different.

My client is currently looking to recruit a proven General Manager for one of their flagship operations leading a team of 15 + across this £3.5 + million account. This is a medium size but complex & busy operation with the board expecting excellence to be delivered in every guest interaction.

The role is diverse and will include all aspects of venue management; key responsibilities focus on overseeing all operational duties, be the key liaison between clients, front of house and the catering department and ensuring excellence in all areas.

From Grab & Go and Retail coffee outlets to busy Hospitality & Dining and Event Operations; the delivery of a 5* services is non-negotiable with the successful General Manager demonstrating an unwavering attention to detail.

Principal accountabilities

  • To plan, lead and execute the smooth delivery of all operations within the venue and ensure the highest levels of customer service at all time.
  • Deliver all financial aspects of the contract for both client and company whilst driving the current business and developing future opportunities.
  • In addition to overseeing all F&B you will be tasked with driving development, innovation, and expansion of what is a hugely exciting operation.
  • Success in this role will come from being able to deliver exceptional customer service, whilst motivating and supporting your team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience managing high-end catering operations within Contract Catering.
  • Financially savvy with a thorough knowledge, understanding of and working with budgets.
  • Great leadership skills and mountains of personality in leading teams to success, motivating and coaching others.
  • Obsessed with amazing customer service and client's relation.
  • A genuine understanding of modern innovative food concepts and excellent levels of service.
  • Think outside the box and bring creativity and strong ambition to deliver above and beyond expectations.
