Our client based in Knutsford is looking experienced accounts admin to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising of sales invoices and posting Payments
  • Credit Control - ensuring customer accounts are run within credit limits and customers pay within agreed terms payments
  • Chase customer payments by email and/or phone - reducing aged debt
  • Issuing monthly statements to customers
  • Process credit & debit card payments
  • Setting up new accounts
  • Consulting with customers/suppliers on queries
  • Processing the Purchase ledger
  • Matching Goods Received Notes to Purchase Invoices
  • Checking prices invoiced to the company against Purchase Orders & inputting of invoices
  • Preparing payment runs of suppliers
  • Reconciling purchase ledger to supplier statements
  • Processing company credit card accounts
  • Process of monthly journals as required to SAGE & payroll
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Processing expense claims
  • Month end reconciliations required with the general ledger

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
