A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Junior Operations Administrator to join our client's team in Basildon.
Responsibilities:
- Booking and handling European Groupage and express consignments, Invoicing for the department in a timely manner.
- Negotiating with suppliers for competitive prices.
- Daily management of the Road Freight daily profit spreadsheet.
- Liaise with accounts department with any sales/cost queries.
- Assisting the department in development of the department and Company as a whole.
- Filing.
- Liaising with our overseas / UK agents.
- Customer Service - using email and telephone calls as required.
- Updating customer portals in a timely manner.
- Working with the Management, Sales team & Directors to maximize the profits for both department and Company as a whole.
Requirements:
- Ideally 6 months to 1 year working in an office environment / admin role
- NO gaps longer than 28 days in work and education history over the past 5 years
- Excellent Attention to Detail is essential
- Good level of understanding and practical knowledge of Excel, Word and outlook
Working Hours:
- 09.00 - 17.30 (flexibility to work beyond will be required)
- Monday to Friday
- 1 hour lunch
