Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Design Technology to join our team in a permanent position starting from September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Design Technology to students across Key Stages 3-5, preparing and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to learn and love the subject.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and practices.
- Participate in meetings, training and other learning activities as required.
Qualifications
- A degree in a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching DT at secondary school level.
Skills
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Design Technology.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
