Production Quality Engineer
Salary: £43,000 per annum

Reed Engineering are working with a fantastic manufacturer who specialise in marine manufacturing. The precision required within the manufacturing process is key therefore I am looking for a Quality Engineer who can work alongside the production team. With the plans to expand and grow the Quality team, I am looking for someone who has the experience working in an environment where the company was building and developing a Quality Management System.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Knowledge of ISO9000
- Understanding of ISO14001 and Health and Safety practices
- Develop and implement a strategic Goods Inwards QA inspection process to ensure incoming materials adhere to required drawings and specifications, while maintaining a steady supply to production.
- Record and manage all Non-Conformities (NCRs), creating a reporting structure to clearly identify, track, and resolve QA issues promptly.
- Communicate QA issues effectively both internally and externally, aiming for swift resolution of non-conformities and enhancing product knowledge through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and similar techniques.
