We are looking for a competent Labourer to assist a well established, and highly regarded business. Experience of landscaping would be a huge bonus required. This is an on going requirement, working, on a self employed basis.
Based in Streatham, the ideal person should be experienced in assisting with Landscaping duties. Because much of the work is undertaken in the grounds of private residential homes, the successful candidate will need to be of smart appearance and possess excellent customer service skills. The role is being offered on a self employed basis, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). This is a long term / ongoing position!
Duties and responsibilities
- Load and unload vehicle of required materials and tools
- Strapping and securing of loads
- Assisting with delivering materials to site
- Assisting with minor groundworks and general labouring
- Assisting with tidying the site, removing all waste
- Disposing of waste appropriately upon return to the yard
- Assisting with goods in / out
- Collecting materials when required
Requirements
- Previous van driving is beneficial
- A full / clean UK driving licence
- The successful candidate must be physically fit and be comfortable in lifting weights in excess of 15kg
- Punctual, reliable and customer friendly
- Manual handing certificate (ideally)
- Asbestos awareness (beneficial)
