Location: Kensington and Chelsea

Salary: £15 - £18 (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term temporary - potential for extension/permanent

Introduction: We are a respected education agency representing a prestigious secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea, London. We are seeking an experienced Registrar to join the school's team to oversee school admissions as Head of Admissions.

Responsibilities: As the Head of Admissions, you will oversee the entire student admissions process, ensuring efficiency and adherence to regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Admissions Oversight: Lead and manage the end-to-end admissions process, from handling applications and documentation to communicating with prospective students and their families.
  • Data Management: Ensure the accurate and confidential maintenance of student records, complying with data protection regulations. Experience using Arbor or similar is preferred.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary contact for prospective students and their families, offering information about the school and guiding them through the admissions process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, leadership, and external stakeholders to coordinate admissions activities and facilitate a smooth transition for new students.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with school admissions policies, local education authority guidelines, and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Admissions Officer, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with admissions policies, procedures, and data protection regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
