Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a dedicated History Teacher, for a well-established school based in Brent.
This would be a full time position maternity cover, starting in September 2024.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the school's curriculum and policies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and collaboration.
- Plan and organise educational trips, outings, and events to enhance students' understanding of historical topics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to History education.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions as required.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
