Role: Production Operative - IMMEDIATE START!
**Location: Margate
**Pay rate: £11.44
**Contract: Temporary position until 6th September, with the potential to be extended
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 5am-3pm

Working for our client who are a thriving bakery company known for their exceptional baked goods and committed to providing their clients delightful, tasty bread. As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring products are made to the highest standards, meeting quality and safety guidelines.

- This is a very repetitive role which will require you to be on your feet all day.
- Due to working in a bakery, the environment can be dusty due to flour and can be hot due to the large ovens.
- There are various roles available within the production area such as:
Dividing - dividing and weighing dough and putting into trays to be baked. This may also include hand stretching the dough to make specific sizes.
Ovens - pushing racks of dough into the oven, turning on the ovens and making sure the bread is taken out at the correct times.
Packing - working in a chilled environment, taking frozen bread off the racks and packing them into boxes to be sealed and delivered.
PPE - due to the nature of the role and dealing with food product, you will:
- Ideally need to be clean shaven, otherwise a beard net will have to be worn.
- A mask is required to be worn in certain areas of the bakery.
- No nails, jewellery, makeup or perfume allowed to be worn, however, a plain wedding band is allowed.
- Uniform, hairnet/cap and shoes is supplied.
Health and safety:
- Due to the working environment if you have asthma, dermatitis or a pacemaker this may not be a suitable role for you.
- Nut/sesame free site.
Other information
- Parking available around the back of the factory.
- Lockers are provided to lock away your personal items.
