Whole Vehicle Analysis Engineer - Infotainment

??�??? Adecco working in collaboration with Bentley Motors are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Infotainment Engineer to join our client's Automotive organisation based in Crewe. As an Infotainment Engineer, you will play a vital role in the evaluation and testing of pre-series vehicles, ensuring the functionality and reliability of infotainment systems. ?? This is a fixed-term contract until October 31st, 2025, offering stability and the opportunity to showcase your expertise. As a full-time role, you will be working 35 hours per week. Please note that a current driving licence is required, as there will be occasional travel involved. ??

?? Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting analysis and reporting of functional defects identified during the reliability testing process.
  • Defining vehicle technical requirements and test profiles.
  • Defining test methodologies to identify functional product defects in pre-series vehicles.
  • Providing expert assessment of drive event vehicles and critical issue reporting.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and influence problem owners and suppliers within the organisation.

?? To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in infotainment systems with an electrical background.
  • Excellent whole vehicle assessment skills.
  • Impressive technical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to present technical problems to various stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in German is preferable.

?? Additionally, the following qualifications and skills are required:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent in electrical, electronic, or automotive engineering.
  • Associate membership of a relevant professional institution (preferable).
  • Advanced knowledge of problem-solving tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with vehicle development and industrialisation processes.
  • Proficient understanding of the Product Emergence Process.
