Gemini People are seeking fit and enthusiastic 7.5 Tonne Drivers, with practical experience of manual handling, securing loads safely and time management for an International Parcel Delivery Courier Depot.
Previous experience within the industry is preferable but not essential as full training will be given.
You must hold excellent communication skills and be confident with working in the public.
Responsibilities:
- To operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle delivering parcels to customers.
- Loading and Unloading Parcels from the vehicle.
- Making sure parcels are delivered to the correct addresses.
- Handballing with deliveries.
- Planning and following the most efficient routes with correct timely deliveries.
- Providing excellent customer services by delivering goods in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with Category C1 License.
- CPC Card, Tachograph Card and no more than 6 points
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Good knowledge of local rods and routes.
- Ability to navigate using a GPS or maps.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Pay Rates:
Day Shift Rate: £11.44 (Overtime: £12.08)
(After 12 Weeks Day Shift Hourly Rate): £15.07 (Overtime: £22.61)
Night Rates
Night Shift Rate: £14.70
(After 12 Weeks Night Shift Hourly Rate): £17.69 (Overtime: £25.23)
