They are looking for an experienced service technician to join their team, to carry out servicing, repairs and fittings to a range of pickups from the customer and client base.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience diagnosing faults, servicing, repairing and carrying out fittings to a variety of vehicles. Full manufacturer training will be provided, but baseline experience is essential.
Duties of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:
- Servicing the range of vehicles the business works with
- Diagnosing and identifying faults on the vehicles
- Carrying out inspection tests and keeping accurate records of the results
- Providing fantastic customer service
- Carrying out repairs of the motor vehicles
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections of the vehicles
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working individually and as part of a team
Required experience of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:
- Previous experience in a similar environment (garage, workshop, etc.)
- Experience working on a variety of commercial vehicles
- Previous diagnostic and fault finding experience
- Strong IT skills
- A full UK drivers licence
