This well-established organisation who I am working with are looking at adding a
Heating Contracts Manager
to their team to work as part of their new build team and manage a number of sites across
Devon and Somerset
- You must have full knowledge of Plumbing & Heating within the new build industry and ideally have had Contracts Manager or Supervisor experience before. After 6 months the salary will increase to £50,000 and in addition, you will have the opportunity to earn an attainable yearly bonus.
The salary for this role is
£45,000 (will rise to £50,000 after 6 months).
Responsibilities of the Heating Contracts Manager role:
- Oversee 10 sites across Devon and Somerset
- Manage and support 20 people who will report directly into you
- Manage and assess all aspects of Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Soil Stacks and plant rooms
- Oversee compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Identify, establish and resolve project issues and challenges in a proactive manner
- Monitor control costs and project budgets effectively
Skills needed in the Heating Contracts Manager role:
- Full knowledge of plumbing and heating within the new build industry
- Ideally have previous contract manager or supervisor experience
- Good experience of managing multiple projects at the same time
- Be able to manage plumbing, heating and gas engineers either appointed on price or on salary
- Good knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices
- Preferably possess current plumbing/gas qualifications
