During a time of growth, they are looking to add an experienced finance or accounts assistant to their team.
Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations.
Your responsibilities will include the following, which you should have experience with:
- Processing and reconciling high volumes of supplier invoices, credit notes, and statements.
- Ensuring accurate and timely payment of supplier invoices.
- Maintaining purchase orders and managing the accounts inbox.
- Assisting with bank transactions and reconciliations.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Performing various ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in a similar finance role within the digital marketing/technology industry (or retail and travel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software, such as Xero or Sage etc
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
