Job Title: Senior Domestic Abuse Casework Coordinator
Location: Bath
Contract: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) | Fixed Term Contract - 12-month
Salary: £27,000 per anum
P4 Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Domestic Abuse Casework Coordinator to join a leading homeless charity committed to providing life-changing support and services. We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to support the Service Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals affected by domestic abuse.
We're keen to speak with candidates that have had managerial/ supervisory experience within accommodation settings such as Supported Housing and Homeless Hostels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Manager with operational management and staff line management of the local project team.
- Provide supportive line management and supervision to team members, ensuring regular reviews are in place, including monthly supervisions, PDRs, and any other reviews as appropriate.
- Deal professionally with local incidents and safeguarding, ensuring action is taken, communicated, followed up, and recorded.
- Manage a caseload of clients, delivering high-quality person-centred services with a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.
- Identify and promote opportunities for client involvement within the project(s).
- Manage own workload effectively and supervise direct reports' workload.
- Embed a recovery-focused approach and a strength-based trauma-informed approach within projects.
- Promote equality and diversity practices within the projects.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's licence and access to own vehicle
- Business insurance required
- Participation in an on-call rota (approx. 1 in every 4 weeks)
- Ability and previous experience in a leadership role
- Experience within DVA is desirable but not essential
