Export Coordinator
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Export Coordinator to join our client's team. As an Export Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of export shipments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global organisation within a friendly and supportive team.
Reporting to the Export Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate and timely quotations to our client's customers for export shipments.
- Processing all export shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
- Calculating and verifying freight and delivery charges to ensure accurate billing.
- Coordinating with customers and receiving agents to address any operational details.
- Liaising with customers to verify customs, contact, insurance, and contract details.
- Ensuring all necessary documents are received in a timely manner for customs clearance.
- Arranging delivery with agents and providing necessary paperwork.
- Communicating relevant details to overseas agents and customers.
- Updating the computer system and maintaining accurate files.
- Creating sales invoices and approving purchase invoices for payment.
- Collaborating with the accounts department to verify payments to suppliers.
- Staying informed about changes to customs procedures and updating records accordingly.
- Monitoring changes in freight rates and exchange rates and updating systems as required.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Experience in international logistics, export operations, or a related field is highly desirable.
