Title: Bioanalytical Scientist – LCMS (Various levels)

Our client is looking or Bioanalytical Scientist (various levels) to join their fast growing team in the North West of England.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and experience of LC-MS/MS including method development and validation
- Knowledge of practical aspects of Bioanalytical techniques
- Experience in Bioanalytical Method Validation
- Experience in performing pharmacokinetic (PK) assays using a variety of analytical platforms including LC-MS/MS.
- Able to develop new techniques and technologies within laboratory
- Experience of NMR is an advantage.
- Detailed understanding of theoretical basis of the Analytical and Bioanalytical techniques, supporting a diverse range of client requirements for biopharmaceuticals.
- To maintain a "state of the art" knowledge in relevant Analytical / Bioanalytical technologies and platforms.
- Ability to generate and technically review multi-technique analytical / bioanalytical reports.
- Problem solve technical challenges autonomously.
- Demonstrate method development as required, drawing on literature as required
- Able to demonstrate client communication and service.
Requirements:
- BSc / MSc/ PhDn or equivalent in Biology/Chemistry (or related scientific discipline) is essential.
- Industry experience is essential
- LC-MS/MS analysis is essential
- Experience of NMR is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of Analytical / Bioanalytical techniques with extensive experience of pharmacokinetic analysis of biopharmaceuticals, small and/or large molecules.
- Experience of Analytical / Bioanalytical method development and validation.
- Experience of working in a GxP regulatory laboratory
- Strong understanding of GMP, GLP and/or GCP principles.
- Strong method development and validation experience (ICH M10 Bioanalytical method validation, ICH Q2 R2 Analytical method validation).
