Working 39 hours a week - Monday to Friday -with hours flexible between an 8am start and a 5:30pm finish an hour early on a Friday), you will be ultimately responsible for monitoring and directing the stockroom and purchasing activities to ensure that parts and supplies are available when needed.
You will also maintain inventory, keep the storeroom organised, oversee usage, pick up and deliver, complete compliance on transactional and physical replenishment and receiving process.
Your r esponsibilities
- coordinate & support local purchasing and administrating requirements
- working closely with colleagues on site and in other countries
- purchasing items to support engineering and new product launches
- administration and processing of electronic and manual requisitions.
- systems management to support production requirements
- procurement of other machines, systems and commodities.
You will need to be
- experienced with JIT / Kanban or VMI systems as well as MRP/ERP
- knowledgeable with INCO terms.
- familiar with global shipping (desirable)
- able to intemperate technical drawings (desirable)
- superior in computer skills
- an excellent communicator
- equip to work under pressure when needed
