Your new company
A small, award-winning supplier based near Midhurst in West Sussex, looking for an experienced transport and logistics planner to support on-time delivery to customers. Monday to Friday only, typical working hours are 0730 to 1615.
Your new role
Reporting to the Operations Director you will liaise with customers and the production function to understand what deliveries need to go out, then plan these onto a couple of in house vehicles, as well as onto hauliers. You will plan routes for own vehicles and brief / de-brief drivers to see how things went against the plan. You will manage using KPIs and report back on these internally, identifying ways to improve performance where possible.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be proven in a similar role, planning routes and loads, and be familiar with tachos and transport compliance.
