About the role

As procurement manager, you will provide strategy and direction to the team that designs, evaluates, and provide reports on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management and performance of suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities for Procurement Manager

  • Develop, plan and organise contracting and procurement strategies and programs based on the teams research.
  • Take pat in projects within the space as needed. Provide advice on compliance with public contracts regulations and legislative requirements during project delivery.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.
  • Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with values.
  • Serve as point of contact for managers outside of procurement solutions.
  • Apply in depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and solutions.

Requirements for Procurement Manager

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to exercise judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft office products. Examples include word, excel, outlook ect.
  • Organisational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated maths skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.

What we offer

Paying between £58.43 - £77.89 per hour.
