Based in Bristol, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance. The role is varied and critical to supporting a finance function at the heart of facilitating change and excellence. As well as ensuring sub-ledgers with Customers, Suppliers and Cash are kept up to date, you will act as a key contact for Customers and Suppliers and have regular communications with them. Study support is on offer and you will have the chance to gain a wide range of experience in a progressive and entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
- Processing supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicating effectively with suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies or missing information.
- Managing supplier inquiries related to payments and account balances.
- Reconciling supplier statements,
- Preparing and processing timely payments to vendors,
- Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining accurate customer information.
- Invoicing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Processing customer payments and recording deposits.
- Managing customer inquiries related to invoices and statements.
- Monitoring outstanding customer balances and chase overdue payments (politely but persistently).
- Assisting with bookkeeping tasks (data entry, bank reconciliations).
- Generating reports as needed (e.g., accounts receivable aging debtors).
- Provide support during the budgeting process.
- Ensuring travel expenses are processed and controlled in a timely manner.
Your Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar.
- Ideally proficient in Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- £30,000 - £32,000 basic salary
