Your new Nursery is a well-established and reputable, it has been serving the local community for over 10 years. They are located in a spacious and modern building with excellent facilities and resources, including a large outdoor area, a sensory room, a library, and a music room. They follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and offer a rich and varied curriculum that covers all areas of learning and development.
They are looking for a Nursery Practitioner who can join a friendly and professional team on a full-time basis. You will be working with children of different ages and abilities, planning, and delivering engaging and stimulating activities that meet their individual needs and interests. You will also be responsible for observing, assessing, and recording the children's progress, as well as ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other professionals, as well as participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and events.
Requirements
- A minimum of Level 3 qualification in childcare
- At least two years of experience working in a nursery setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- A commitment to continuous professional development
