Job Purpose
- Support a tax portfolio, with a primary focus on personal tax compliance work
- Preparation of self-assessment and personal tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, landlords, shareholders etc
- Preparation of P11D forms
- Provide practical support and explain businesses processes
- Support with tax planning advice to minimise tax liabilities
- Research changes to tax laws and regulations
- Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries
- Work closely with the managers to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
- Champion professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities
- Provide ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects where required

Job Requirements
- ATT qualified, nearly qualified or keen to start studying in the future
- Demonstrable experience and understanding of personal tax
- Sound understanding of software used to complete self-assessment returns
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organised and able to manage own workload
- Self-motivated, professional and reliable
- An eagerness to progress with the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
