A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a reputable insurance brokerage based in the Southport area.
As Commercial Account Handler you will provide an excellent client service in accordance with agreed company guidelines. Our client's ethos is built on trust, integrity and always putting their clients first. You will therefore work closely with Client Managers to ensure a high level of service and technical advice is provided to each Client.
We would love to hear from experienced Account Handlers from the broking world with a good range of knowledge across different commercial insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gaining an understanding of the client's business and assessing insurance needs
- Negotiating renewals with insurers and clients
- Taking instructions from clients and processing MTAs
- Collection of premiums
- Management of aged debt within client base
- Establishing strong professional working relationships with insurers
- Identifying cross- and up-selling opportunities; negotiating renewal terms, mid-term adjustments and cover extensions
Skills and Experience Required:
- You will have proven experience in a similar Commercial Account Handler role.
- Strong knowledge across all commercial classes, together with good client facing and excellent communication skills.
- Acturis experience would be advantageous albeit not essential.
- You will be joining a team who are passionate about providing a quality service to its clients.
