Nigel Wright's Supply Chain and Procurement Team is delighted to be supporting a longstanding, well-established Engineering Services Group in their recruitment of a Project Planner

The Role

In the role of Project Planner you will work with the project team, consortium partners and (sub)contractors to proactively advise on time, progress, resource management, opportunities and risks. It is a multifaceted and responsible role, in which your knowledge and ingenuity is essential to the successful completion of the project.

Within the Plan and Control department, you will work on the development and expansion of knowledge in the fields of Planning, Risk, Systems Engineering and Information Management.

  • Maintaining, updating and progressing the contract planning, considering all aspects of the work like logic, resource

planning, cash flows and uncertainties

  • Creating transparency and overview with clear visuals (by usage of Gant charts, time-distance diagrams, storyboards and

4D-plans)

  • Advising project management on strategic direction for the project
  • Delivering reliable progress reports during the project duration
  • Initiating and leading planning workshops, reviews and rehearsals of concept (ROC)

The Person

The project planner will have strong communication skills to effectively work in a team on multiple projects. Creating and maintaining a clear overview, and have the ability to translate complex matters into understandable insights.

Together with:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Experience of working in planning roles in the offshore wind industry
  • Experience in developing project schedules (e.g. Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project)
  • Willingness to occasionally travel (inter)nationally to project locations and Netherlands office
