Description
- Assist in maintaining the accounts payable ledger
- Prepare and process invoices for payment
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Assist with the preparation of month-end reports
- Respond to supplier and internal queries
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Support the wider accounting & finance team with ad-hoc tasks
- Comply with all relevant financial policies and procedures
Profile
A successful AP Assistant should have:
- An educational background in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
