Part Time Management Accountant - Home Working - Flexible Pattern - Gateshead Offices
Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with an organisation in Gateshead who have a permanent requirement for an experienced Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to work for an organisation with North East based offices, but with full flexibility to work from home. This role will be for 3 days per week, but may have scope to increase in the long term depending on your preferences. As Management Accountant, your role will cover the following:
o Management Accounts – fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, accrued & deferred income
o Budgets and forecasts
o Costing / Project costing analysis and analysing project P&Ls.
o Reporting with commentary
o Payroll – cover end to end payroll processing plus manual payroll journals - p32 every month, SSP, Maternity, checking everything and asking the right questions.
o Year End – board reports
o Systems: Excel – VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables System: Xero
About You
We are eager to hear from experienced Management Accountants who can hit the ground running with the above tasks.
Experience Required:
o Management Accountant
o Costing/Project Accounting experience from a charity ideally but open to different sector if used to handling multiple budgets/P&Ls.
o Not for profit experience desirable
o Qualified by Experience - AAT Qualification desirable
o Payroll experience
