Marketing Manager

Exciting new role as Marketing Manager working for our Peterborough based client, with locations based through East Anglia and the South-East. A brand-new role reporting to the Directors to drive interest in their residential and leisure properties to maximise leads and create sales.

This would suit an experienced Marketing Manager with full marketing mix and budget responsibilities. The role includes engaging with the sales teams to fully understand the challenges they are facing in maximising sales, and work with them to break these down. You will need to research and identify their target customers, and work out ways to raise the brand profile, using traditional and digital channels.

The role includes but not limited to:

  • Marketing budget responsibility.
  • Create and plan the B2C marketing strategy designed to drive brand awareness and lead generation in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Management, utilisation, growing and cleansing of the database.
  • Manage digital assets ensuring all information is up to date, engaging and optimised.
  • Build social media channels and enhance brand awareness
  • Create and distribute compelling PR, case studies, features, videos etc and build first class relationships with relevant websites, blogs, publications and news groups to maximise adoption of stories and story lines.
  • Track success and effectiveness of campaigns and events, adjust and improve where appropriate

Skills

  • 5 years marketing experience preferably from residential sector or a bonus if familiar with residential and holiday park homes
  • You must have experienced track record in campaign planning, management and delivering sales leads through effective, tactical marketing across all channels.
  • Creative flair with experience using design software.
  • Strong communication and media relations with excellent interpersonal skills.

The client is looking for a creative, ideas led marketeer who is equally comfortable translating insights from qualitative and quantitative data into narrative and insights inform budget and strategy decisions.

The role will require you to travel across all areas in which the client is represented - and when not on the road you will be required to work in the office.

It is rare to find a brand-new role within an established brand, that will give autonomy and authority from the get-go.
