Group FP&A Manager required for multi-site, mid-sized FMCG business undergoing an exciting period of Transformation and Investment.
This is a highly visible role and a key part of the finance management team, working with the Group Financial Controller, with regular interactions with the Group CFO and business unit Finance Directors.
The Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager is part of a small team, which creates a broad role driving the development of the organisation's short and long-term financial plans, shaping management reporting.
You will be expected to bring an innovative and disciplined approach to the wider finance team, looking to continually improve internal processes, building alignment and collaboration.
- Role is the deputy to the Group Financial Controller and will provide cover as needed.
- Financial Planning: Leading the long-term strategic and financial planning, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. This involves setting the timetables; designing and implementing the approaches; coordinating the delivery across business units; consolidating, reporting and analysing submissions; and providing presentational output for signing off plans. A key dimension of the role will be coaching, up-skilling and challenging the business units.
- Cashflow Management, foreign currencies
- Consolidations of multiple Divisions with provision of commentary and presenting to Board.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing the Group weekly and monthly performance reporting, which is used for the Executive and Board meetings, working closely with the Group CFO. Clear and concise communication of financial information and insights is crucial to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization.
- Strategic Decision Support: There will be ad hoc strategic projects you will be involved with, which could be group-wide or specific business vertical projects. This will include financial modelling, scenario analysis, and investment appraisal for new initiatives, acquisitions, or capital projects.
- Help to drive continuous improvement across the finance function, simplifying core processes and improving financial planning, reporting and cash management.
You will be a qualified Account with strong technical skills, commercial awareness and the ability to influence and drive change.
