Warehouse Operative with FLT job description:·
- Operating machinery such as forklifts, strapping machines and pallet forks. IT systems are also used on a daily basis.
- Picking and packing orders, off loading and on loading vehicles with palletised and hand-balled stock.
- Helping in coming up with solutions to issues if/when they arise.
- Co-ordinating with suppliers and carriers.
- Working hours are between 08:30 and 17.15 Monday - Friday, with some overtime potential. This role is based on a 40hr week with no set weekend requirements.
As a Warehouse Operative with FLT you will have the following benefits:
- 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.15pm) with some overtime potential. With no set weekend requirements.
- Hourly Rate of £11.44 p/h
To be successful as a Warehouse Operative with FLT you will need:
- Previous Warehouse experience is desired.
- Strong planning and organisation skills.
- Polite and professional manner.
- A reasonable understanding of Office based programmes such as Outlook and Excel.
- Previous experience in the use of ERP systems would be advantageous.
- Licensed to operate a Forklift. Training can be provided.
