Health and Safety Manager

We're recruiting for a NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety Manager to join a company based in Arundel where you'll be providing guidance, direction and oversight to ensure the UK Health and Safety legislation is in place to protect the health and safety of contractors, associates and staff. Ideally, you'll have previous experience in a similar Health and Safety role.

As a Health and Safety Manager your role will include:

  • Overseeing the health and safety compliance, ensuring it aligns with the UK legislation
  • Developing and implementing tailored safety programs to meet each company's specific needs
  • Conducting regular onsite audits
  • Reviewing and auditing RAMS / risk assessments

Skills Required:

  • Qualification or equivalent in Health and Safety such as NEBOSH
  • Experience with managing contractors from a health and safety perspective
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Full, clean UK driving licence

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm on an annual salary of up to £43,000. The role is based in Arundel but you will have to travel to visit customer sites.
