Be-IT is delighted to be partnering with a new client in the Fintech space, specifically within wealth management. We are seeking a talented Back End Developer to join their talented team of Engineers based in Edinburgh.

The Ideal candidate will have experience using their modern tech stack – Node.js, Typescript, AWS & MongoDB, will come from a cross-functional team working in a product environment. Domain knowledge surrounding fintech and wealth management would be an added bonus.

Key Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in backend development, with comprehensive knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
  • Skilled in full stack development, with experience in frameworks like Next.js, React, and .NET.
  • Proficient in utilizing Amazon Web Services, including Lambda, SQS, and SNS, with a solid understanding of Serverless environments.
  • Experienced in working within complex event-driven messaging architectures.
  • Strong background in implementing quality controls through the testing pyramid.
  • Dedicated to writing thorough unit tests, with a focus on ensuring robust and reliable code.
  • Familiar with MongoDB.
  • Experienced in continuous integration practices.
  • Adept at working in a collaborative, rigorous product refinement process within a strong Agile Scrum environment
