Location: Home-based with routine UK-wide travel

Hours: 08:30 – 16:30 however will need to be flexible

We are looking for a Field Engineers Mate to join our client's team. This role involves assisting with maintenance visits, repairs, and breakdowns as instructed. The successful candidate will be working under the direct supervision of Field Engineers and will be expected to carry out all work in accordance with company procedures, standards, safety policies, and time frames.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist with maintenance visits, repairs, and breakdowns as instructed by the Unit Service Manager.
- Carry out all work in accordance with company procedures, standards, and safety policies within the given time frames.
- Communicate precisely both in writing and verbally.
- Work under direct supervision from Field Engineers and collaborate as a team member on multi-person activities.
- Always maintain a smart appearance and professional demeanour.
- Be willing to work overtime and travel as and when the business requires.
- Operate the company Service Management system using a smartphone to report attendance, site surveys, and equipment information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in engineering.
- Ability to communicate precisely both in writing and verbally.
- Willingness to work under direct supervision and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a smart appearance.
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as required by the business.
- Proficiency in using smart devices and service management systems.
