BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association based across Buckinghamshire to recruit for an experienced Surveyor to join their dedicated team and support them in identifying repairs and general maintenance to their housing stock
Main Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for undertaking inspections including specifying repair works and disrepair claims including damp and mould cases for both tenanted and void properties
- Raise responsive & void work orders, identified via H&S assessments including FRA works
- Liaise with contractors to organise repair works to be carried out including planned maintenance delivery, minor works and refurbishments
- Produce specifications on works required for remedial and planned works to properties
- Assisting the Property Maintenance Manager with the management of external contractors including: attending formal and informal contract meetings
- Carry out work progress inspections on sites for void and repair orders
- Ensure that works are carried out in-line with health and safety legislations
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing a high standard of customer service, providing advice and assisting with queries or complaints
- Ensure that all information is accurately logged and updated on IT systems to create accurate stock data
Job Requirements
- Driver with access to own vehicle
- Experience of surveying and/or professional qualification - HND/HNC
- Experience working in a social housing environment
