The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Quality Engineer?
- Supporting the Helmet Mounted Displays (HMD) & Active Inceptor Systems (AIS) project teams concerning Quality Assurance tasks and activities
- Planning, conducting, reporting and effectively communicate Quality Assurance tasks and activities
- Leading junior members of the Quality Assurance department in conducting tasks and activities
- Engagement with HMD & AIS Management and Teams on Quality System matters
What are we looking for in our next Quality Engineer?
- Experience of EN9100 (AS9100) Quality System requirements
- Proficiency of First Article Inspections to AS9102
- Quality Assurance Planning, Estimating and Estimates to Complete
- Supplier Quality Assurance Management
- Drawing and Document Reviews and Configuration Management
- Experience in leading complex Root Cause & Corrective Action investigations
Desirable
- Awareness of the development life cycle of projects from phase 2 to phase 5
- Knowledge of APQP/PPAP to AS9145
- Previous experience in electronic products
- Proficiency in compliance procedures: Systems / Safety - APR 4754 / ARP 4761
